I'm so glad that Annie's alive and well...I was just thinking about her the other day, wondering if I'd ever see her again. It brings me such joy knowing that you get to see them every so often! Please do say hello for me to them. And tell Annie that I tried to come see her during my last week in SA, but people told me that she'd moved to Vishoek!?! Not quite sure...my memory's lagging. Anyway, I just read your update, and I will definitely pray for finances. I'm so glad to hear that you are encouraged though. Put your hope in God and you will never be disappointed.
Bless you!

Hi Rachel!

How are you? I hope life is good for you and that you are continuing to grow in God; that the western 'world' is not stunting that growth and that God is showing you the things that he is calling you to...

I am back in SA doing an SCCSM. "what the heck is that?" I hear you say. It stands for the School of Cross-Cultural and Strategic Missions; basically it is training to enable me to church plant. It's a 6 month course with 3 months lecture/training and then 3 months outreach/church planting. I will be on a team where we will go to Brazil to plant a church in the most dangerous part of Brazil (actually worse than the place on that film 'City of God')!!!

But apparently it's the kind of violence that is amongst gangsters and drug dealers, etc so they won't involve us (apparently!) - still, pray for my safety heh? I'd really appreciate it.

I've spent time with Annie and Ben again this time I'm back here. If you want me to I'll say that you said hi!...?

Bless you Rache
